About Kiora Amorez and These Terms
Welcome to Kiora Amorez. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, products, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
Throughout these Terms, “Kiora Amorez”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Kiora Amorez and its affiliated entities.
Jewellery Information
Kundan: This is basically cut glass set in gold with Meena kari (colourful Lac) on the back. Kundan sets give the same look as Polki except they shine lesser and because it’s just glass.
Polki: Polki is uncut, raw, diamonds. Similar looking to Kundan but shines a lot more and has much more depth of character.
Meenakari: Meenakari jewellery is essentially filling gold frames with colored Lac or Meena in different patterns.
Jadau: Jadau is a way of using Kundan & Polki & Meenakari in an engraved setting. Gold foil is used to set Polki stones with Meenakari at the back. Jadau is a technique, Polki & Kundan are stones.
The gold content in Kundan/Polki sets is low because the gold is used just to make the frame and its filled with lac inside.
Caring For Your Polki Jadau Jewellery
Polki Jadau jewellery is very delicate, therefore it is recommended to wear it sitting down with extra care, as any fall on a hard surface will break it. The chemicals from cosmetics and perfumes can easily tarnish the gold and spoil its lustre therefore always wear your jewellery after applying them. Never keep this jewellery in a humid place or expose it to direct sun light for long durations, as the gold might get discoloured or the stones might become loose. Store it in a separate box, in a dry place, and wrapped in a cotton cloth for preservation and to keep it from touching other jewellery pieces. Do not wash or polish it at home.
Care Instructions
We hope that each piece bought from Kiora Amorez becomes a treasured legacy. To fulfil this aspiration, the jewellery must be cared for properly and protected from dust and other pollutants. Daily use of a piece can also reduce the lustre of the gemstones and the shine of the gold, silver and platinum surfaces. To ensure that your jewellery remains in pristine condition, we recommend a professional cleaning once a year.
Further, when your jewellery is not in use, proper storage is imperative. Our jewellery is presented in protective lined casing to prevent scratches and breakage due to pressure. Before putting on a piece, always ensure that the clasps are snug and that the locks are in place. If something becomes loose, be assured that we at Kiora Amorez will take care of your precious piece. Whether your necklace clasp becomes loose or your emeralds need to be cleaned, experienced professionals will help you each step of the way. We want you to be perfectly satisfied with each of our products.
Gemstone settings require special care to prevent abrasion. Take care to protect your jewellery from contact with tough surfaces. Be extremely careful when storing gemstone pieces, as certain gems can scratch others. Store each piece individually to prevent such scrapes. As extreme temperatures, perfumes, cosmetics, and household chemicals can also prove harmful, jewellery contact with these substances should be avoided.
Exchange & Buyback Policy
We are happy to exchange any ornament bought from us at full price, if the sold ornament is returned in saleable condition along with the invoice and certificate, within 5 days of purchase. No cash refund.
Exchange and buyback of Kiora Amorez jewellery will be processed only on presentation of invoice and authenticity certificate. Exchange and buyback facility is available, if the returned ornament has the actual weight in the invoice. Please note that the making charges and tax cannot be refunded.
For exchange against new jewellery, Diamonds of the old jewellery will be valued at 90% of the discounted diamond rate.
Gold/Platinum will be valued at the rate as on the date of exchange. Polki & Precious stones of the old jewellery, weighing over 1ct will be valued at 60% of the discounted invoice rate.
When jewellery is bought back for cash, Diamonds of the old jewellery will be valued at 80% of the discounted diamond rate. Gold will be valued at 3% less from the prevailing gold rate. Platinum will be valued at 100% of the prevailing rate. Precious stones weighing over 1ct, will be valued at 50% of the discounted invoice rate.
In case of any dissatisfaction with the ornament, please inform the Kiora Amorez office by mail or phone within 24 hours of receipt of the ornament. We are happy to offer you free life time maintenance of Kiora Amorez jewellery, watches and accessories.
Kiora Amorez reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions.
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Calicut.
Privacy Policy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.
By using our Platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Online Purchases
All purchases made through Kiora Amorez are subject to product availability and order acceptance.
We reserve the right to:
